There are cross-country skiing trails near the hotel that give access to a network of 60 km pistes, prepared to perfection by the Biathlon and Cross Country Skiing Centre of East Tyrol, between the Gailtal and Lesachtal valleys. Come and enjoy the peace of nature in the valley with the best guarantee of snow in the Southern Alps, and ski on high class circuits with natural snow. You can then return in a comfortable and environmentally friendly public bus at no extra cost.

Saddling the Dorfberg, the mountain that dominates Kartisch, is a 10 km circuit at 2,000 m of altitude, which is a real treat with its wonderful views. We will be happy to advise you and provide detailed maps at the hotel before you set out, to make your day of cross-country skiing truly perfect.

The Kartisch ski area on the Dorfberg, with the Kanterlift facility, is particularly suitable for families with young children. The low frequency on the slopes and the excellent value for money of the ski passes mean you can ski at complete leisure in the Gailtal valley of Tyrol. We are always happy to offer you a ski pass at a good price. The larger ski areas of the Golzentipp, Skizentrum Hochpustertal and the Sexten Dolomites in South Tyrol are only a few km away!
